Thank you everybody for coming to auditions last night. We had some extraordinarily strong and moving performances both from people we already knew and from some who we had not heard before.

The one formal audition was for the part of bartender  and this has gone to Ginge.

The whole auditioning panel were in very close agreement throughout, so this meant that we were able to decide who would get the main solos and significant solo parts in the duets and other ensembles. (Note that some of the duets are actually a bigger sing than some of the smaller solos.) It is the panel's intention that everybody will get something to do that fits their abilities and expressed wishes. Nobody will get more than one major song or star billing!

The final details of the allocation of duets and trios were not decided last night by the time midnight was fast approaching, so all announcements will be made at THURSDAY's rehearsal.
